Comparison: China Glaze - Exceptionally Gifted VS Golden Rose Classics Charming #22

Golden Rose Classics Charming #22 looked close to China Glaze Exceptionally Gifted and I've made a small comparison.
I applied 2 coats of each nail polish (without top coat). On the index and ring finger is China Glaze Exceptionally Gifted and on the middle and pinkie is Golden Rose Classics Charming #22.
As you can see, China Glaze looks a little darker and at the same time more pearly on the nails than Golden Rose. And it seems that Golden Rose has more golden particles.
Both polishes dried rather quick, but I must say that Golden Rose was a bit easier to apply.
And I guess if I had two choose one of this two nail polishes, I'd choose Golden Rose :).

Some Layering With SoFine Special effects #212

Last week when I was showing SoFine Special effects #212, KarenD from Frazzle and Aniploish wrote that she'd love to see this nail polish layered over a green or blue. And I thought that it would be interesting to try :).
So I catched a sunny day (this was really hard :) ) and here it is.
First I applied:
- on the index finger 1 coat of Essence Trendsetter (I haven't show this nail polish on my blog yet, but I think you know how it looks like, it's a dark green creme);
- on the middle 1 coat of Maybelline Urban Turquoise;
- on the ring 1 coat of DB cosmetic #648 (when I was making swatches of this nail polish I didn't turn the macro on, I'm sorry for the blurry photos :"> );
- on the pinkie 3 coats of Avon Blue Shock.
Then I layered 1 coat of SoFine Special effects #212 on each finger. No top coat.

I hope that you can see the differences on the last two photos. I was trying to capture the blue side of SoFine Special effects #212.

Ноготок (Nogotok) Reflex #175

Hi girls!
Today I'm showing you nail polish that had disappointed me. I usually don't have problems with nail polishes of this brand. But this was probably one of those cases when the price justifies the quality. This nail polish costed only 1,2 $.
Ноготок (Nogotok) #175 from the Reflex Collection could be a nice blue shimmer, if it would not be so bubbly. I did few attempts with this nail polish, but it got bubbly even on a nail wheel :-<. But despite of bubbles I still decided to show the photos :). 2 coats, no top coat.

China Glaze - GR8

Gold holo :). It's GR8 from the China Glaze OMG Collection.
Application was ok, GR8 dries quick. I did 2 coats, no top coat.
Like most of the holos, this one in the shadow didn't look too attractive (just dusty gold). But in the sun did <3. The holographic effect of GR8 was slighter then of L8R G8R, but still very pretty. What do you think?
Have a gr8 weekend! :)

SoFine Special effects #212

Hello ladies!
Today I'm showing SoFine nail polish #212 from the Special effects line. This nail polish is made in Ukraine, the bottle contains 10 ml, and it costed near 2,5 $.
#212 is a nice duochrome, it changes color from turquoise/green to blue. Blue is noticable at several angles, but unfortunately my photocamera didn't want to capture it :(.
It's rather sheer nail polish, so what you see on the photos is 3 coats, no top coat. Drying time was ok.
Thanks for reading and have a good week!

My Dreams Came True (:

Not all, of course, but couple did :). My aunt sent me for Christmas this Kiko's from Italy. All from my wishlist <3.

#338 (Lavanda Chiaro), #344 (Verde Nebbia Marina), #266 (Blu Oltremare), #336 (Blu Elettrico), #270 (Paillettes Acqua Sparkle T.), #231 (Multicolour Paillettes Sparkle T.)

A few days ago I received a small present from my friend (thank you, Lena! :-*  ). She gave me this stamping set. She knew that I wanted stamping set for a long time, but couldn't find it in my town. I could order Konad stamping set online, but it was really expensive and I hoped to find a cheaper one (Essence, for example :) ). So, my friend found some no name stamping set (I didn't find any name on it) and gave it to me. She also told me where I can go to buy more plates for it :). But she said that this stamping set was very cheap and she's not sure if it will work... And I can say that I've already tried it a little bit and I think it's working :). I also discovered that this m21 plate that I've got looks very similar to Konad's m21 plate, but has small differences.

Let your nail polish dreams come true as soon as possible! :)

Ноготок (Nogotok) Glitter #223 (over Ноготок (Nogotok) Reflex #34)

Red nails for Christmas Eve :). (As I told before, I'm Orthodox like the majority of people in Ukraine).
First I applied 2 coats of my old nail polish Ноготок (Nogotok) #34 from the Reflex Collection, which is cherry red jelly. Easy in application, drying time was normal. On the bottom of the post I added a photo of this nail polish on it's own. Sorry for those glitter on my fingers :">.
And then I added 1 coat of Ноготок (Nogotok) #223 from the Glitter Collection. It's a red square glitter in a clear base. Drying time was ok.
No top coat on the photos.

Wish everyone who celebrates Christmas tomorrow a Merry Christmas! (*)
Here is a nice Christmas cartoon. It's Ukrainian Christmas song "Shchedryk" (you all, probably, know it's English version which is called "Carol of the Bells"). By the way "Carol of the Bells" was composed by the Ukrainian composer Mykola Leontovych :).

Ноготок (Nogotok) Glitter #227 (over n.6 Beauty Experience Nail Fashion Color)

Over n.6 Beauty Experience Nail Fashion Color nail polish that I showed in my last post I added 2 coats of Ноготок (Nogotok) #227 from the Glitter Collection. It's a green square glitter in a clear base. The surface wasn't really smooth, but I didn't add a top coat. Drying time was ok.
