Born Pretty Store Stamping Plate QA8 Review

I got 2 stamping plates for review from Born Pretty Store and today I want to show you one of them.
This is stamping plate QA8. It has super cool skull, leopard, zebra and checkered designs and can be purchased for 2,99 $.
The plate arrived covered with a protective film. Only be careful while removing it, don't cut your fingers with the angles of a plate :).

For my manicure I decided to do a classic zebra :). I still consider myself a newbie at stamping and this was actually the first time when I was using full nail design.
So, I painted my nails in white (I used Ados #502) and as I don't have special nail polishes for stamping I stamped zebra pattern with a regular black nail polish. The black I've used wasn't very pigmented, but images transfered good. I took photos before I've applied a top coat :">.

Do you like animal prints?

Born Pretty Store have a lot nail art and beauty products to offer. Don't forget to use code CTL91 to get 10 % off your order when you shop there :).

El Corazon - Salt And Pepper (over Avon - On Point Blue)

On top of Avon On Point Blue that I showed yesterday I applied El Corazon art top coat called Salt And Pepper.
Salt And Pepper is a clear base with small black and white matte glitter.
I love black and white glitter combination and I think the name suits this nail polish perfectly! :)
Drying time was good. For my manicure I used 2 coats.
I got this art top coat from Scarlet company.

What do you think? :)

Avon - On Point Blue

Today I want to show you the first Avon nail polish that I've tried from updated Speed Dry+ line.
It's called On Point Blue and it is a blue creme.
This nail polish was opaque after 2 coats (I didn't add top coat for my swatches).
Application was ok and drying time was really quick.

Have a nice day! :)

Seven Deadly Sins Tag

Sweet Lisa from Lisas' Nails tagged me with Seven Deadly Sins Tag. I decided to add photos to this post to make it a bit more interesting :).

1. GREED: What is your most expensive beauty item?
Jeanne Lanvin perfume by Lanvin, I've paid for it near 56 $.

2. WRATH: Which beauty item do you have a love/hate relationship with?
Yves Rocher fluid frosted eyeshadows (Noir shade). If I'm not mistaken they were a part of winter 2011/12 limited edition.
I love the color, but I hate that I always end up looking like panda when I use them :D. I just can't blend them nicely.

3. GLUTTONY: What brand makes up the biggest chunk of your make up collection?
I don't give preferences to any brand so I have a little bit of everything :). But the main part of my make up collection is probably from Avon.

4. SLOTH: What product do you neglect to use due to laziness?
Do basecoat counts? :)

Avon revitacool and gel strength base coats; Eveline SOS multivitamin conditioner; Yves Rocher correction base coat

5. PRIDE: Which beauty product gives you the most confidence?
Nail polish! <3

6. LUST: Which item is at the top of your beauty wish list?
A discontinued stunner OPI DS Glamour. I want it, I need it! But I don't think I'll ever get it :(...
A gorgeous photo below I borrowed from Cristina's blog Pee Before Polish :).

Photo belongs to Cristina from Pee Before Polish

7. ENVY: What make up product / look looks great on others but not on yourself?
I really like blushes on others, but when it comes to myself I just can't apply them good :).

Nogotok Style Color #199

Nogotok updated their whole range of nail polishes back in spring 2012, but I was able to buy them only this spring. They were simply not sold in my town (I live in the town with 500,000 + population!) and there's also no way to buy their nail polishes online. I would understand this situation if it was a foreign brand, but Nogotok is Ukrainian brand...
Anyway today I want to show you Nogotok Style Color #199. It is a brownish purple base with a gorgeous blue shimmer.
Application was ok and drying time was regular.
I used 3 thin coats and a layer of top coat for my swatches.

Galaxy Nails

I wanted to try galaxy nails for a quite long time and here is my first attempt :).
The base nail polish is Avon Twilight Blue. I sponged Orly Halley's Comet, Avon Pink Radiance, Flormar Supershine Miracle U08 and Ados #502. Then I added  Oriflame Nail Bling for some sparkle and also white matte glitter El Corazon Dreams In Dotty. I finished my mani with a layer of top coat.

Thank you for reading! :)

Ados #502 & Celebration Scudetto Nails!

This is my 200-th post and I want to start it with swatches of a plain white creme nail polish that I used as a base for my manicure.
It's called Ados Extra Long Lasting #502 and it's not a perfect white creme, but I like it :). I applied 2 coats without top coat.

This manicure was inspired by my favourite football team (again :) ). Juventus won the second title of the Champions of Italy in a row, yay! :)
Actually they have won the title on the 5-th of May, even before the championship was over. And they have already lifted Scudetto trophy high into the sky last Saturday, but tonight they have yet to play their last game of 2012/13 season.
Here is what I did: I applied black nail polish with the help of striping tape and also green and red nail polish on my accent nail (colors of Italian national flag). Then I dotted "31" on my accent nail (which means that Juve won the title for the 31-st time in its history).
Simple, but supportive, right? :)

El Corazon Souvenir Eggs #423/108

The first nail polish that I've tried from El Corazon Souvenir Eggs Collection is #423/108.
It is a pink jelly base with big and small hex and tiny blue glitter and also big pink hex glitter. This nail polish looks so girly :).
I don't have complaints about application and drying time.
On my nails you can see 3 coats (+ top coat).
I got this nail polish from Scarlet company.

Blue Dotticure

Today I want to show you my first dotticure! :)
I was trying to recreate this manicure that Ivana did last year. Only instead of pink nail polishes I used blues (and also a white nail polish). I don't think it's necessery to mention all nail polishes that I used because there were near 15 of them :).

For this manicure I used dotting tools that I got from KKCenterHK.
There are 5 different sized double-sided dotting tools in the kit. Dotting tools are packed in the penholder so it's comfortable to keep them.
I'm sure I'll be using dotting tools a lot in my future manicures :).

If you're searching for dotting tools I highly recommend these ones!
You can buy dotting tool kit here for 8,88 $.
Don't forget that you can use code ZEBRA-NAILS for 10% off from your order on the KKCenterHK (until the 31-st of January 2014).

Golden Rose - Creme Brulee

It seems that my Ferrari manicure brought some luck to Ferrari team because Fernando Alonso won the Spanish Grand Prix and Felipe Massa won the third place today :D.
But today I want to show something neutral - a lovely nude creme nail polish called Creme Brulee. It comes from the Golden Rose Selective line.
This nail polish was a bit sheer, but I didn't have problems with application. I used 2 thick coats, no top coat. Drying time was good.

I remember some bloggers were doing matching manicures with their mothers for Mother's Day last year and I decided to do a matching mani this year. So on the photo below you can see my and my mother's hand together :).

Happy Mother's Day! :)

Ferrari Nails

I think I've never mentioned on my blog before that I love watching Formula 1 and I'm a Scuderia Ferrari fan :).
The Spanish Grand Prix will take place on Sunday so I planned to do this mani special for it. But since Mother's Day is also on Sunday and I want to do some manicure for it too I decided to show Ferrari nails today.

For my manicure I used N.NAIL-WDBLE384 water decals that I've got from KKcenterHK. I applied them over Avon Real Red and sealed with a layer of top coat.

Are there any Formula 1 fans here? :)
Have a great weekend!

You can buy these nail water decals here for 2,82 $.
Don't forget to use code ZEBRA-NAILS for 10% off from your order on the KKCenterHK (until the 31-st of January 2014).
