Ados #549

My first post of this spring is about amazing blue nail polish called Ados Extra Long Lasting #549.
This nail polish is a semi-jelly. It applies nicely and dries quickly.
For my swatches I used 3 coats of nail polish, no top coat.

I noticed that this nail polish looks pretty close to Kiko #336 which I adore. I didn't make comparison on the nails, but here is bottles comparison :).

Avon - Red Reveal (+ comparison)

Recently Avon released 4 new nail polish shades in a limited edition. The only one I've picked is called Red Reveal.
Red Reveal is a pinky-red creme nail polish. Application was good, drying time was regular. I applied 2 coats, no top coat.
The most accurate color is shown on the photo in the shade. And there you can also see how glossy this polish is :).

And here is a quick comparison of Avon reds. On the "left" nail is Real Red and on the "right" nail is Red Reveal. They're pretty close, but Red Reveal is more blue-toned. Also Red Reveal is more pigmented.

Thank you for reading! :)

Comparison: Orly - Lunar Eclipse VS Flormar Supershine Miracle U08

I also made a quick comparison of Flormar Supershine Miracle U08 and my favourite nail polish Orly Lunar Eclipse.
They looked similar in the bottles, but after the first coat of application the difference became obvious. Flormar had more a purple-like base while Orly had a blue.
I applied 3 coats of Lunar Eclipse on my point and ring finger and 2 coats of U08 on my middle and pinkie. After this, Flormar started to look just a bit darker than Orly. The duochrome effect was pretty much the same.
Lunar Eclipse is still my favourite (I just love this shade of blue <3), but I can't resist a sparkly blue nail polish, so U08 is not deprived of my love too :).

Katee from A Girl and Her Polish wondered how Flormar Supershine Miracle U08 would look with a matte top coat. So here is a photo. Sorry, but only one nail :).

Comparison: China Glaze - Rich & Famous VS Avon - Viva Pink

China Glaze Rich & Famous reminded me of Avon Viva Pink and I made a quick comparison.
I applied 3 thin coats of Rich & Famous on my point and ring finger and also 3 thin coats of Avon Viva Pink on my middle finger and pinkie.
Both polishes were good to work with, but I like China Glaze formula more.
On my photos you can see that China Glaze is more cool-toned, but in RL the difference was hardly noticable, especially on the nails. So they're not dupes, but they're pretty close :).

Comparison: China Glaze - Exceptionally Gifted VS Golden Rose Classics Charming #22

Golden Rose Classics Charming #22 looked close to China Glaze Exceptionally Gifted and I've made a small comparison.
I applied 2 coats of each nail polish (without top coat). On the index and ring finger is China Glaze Exceptionally Gifted and on the middle and pinkie is Golden Rose Classics Charming #22.
As you can see, China Glaze looks a little darker and at the same time more pearly on the nails than Golden Rose. And it seems that Golden Rose has more golden particles.
Both polishes dried rather quick, but I must say that Golden Rose was a bit easier to apply.
And I guess if I had two choose one of this two nail polishes, I'd choose Golden Rose :).

Comparison: Essence - Choose Me VS Orly - Halley's Comet

I know that I'm not the first who is doing this comparison, and probably not the second :). Anyway, here is what do I think about this two polishes.
So, I applied 2 coats of each polish (no top coat). On the index and ring finger is Orly Halley's Comet and on the middle and pinkie is Essence Choose Me. Both of them were good in application and dried rather fast. But it seemed that Halley's Comet was a little bit more sheer and dried a bit more quickly.
From the first sight this two polishes looked very common, but when I took a closer look I saw that Choose Me has more golden particles. Also Halley's Сomet looked more sparkly under the sunlight.
I counted a price of 1 ml of each polish and unexpectedly Orly's price was lower :).
As for me, I like them both :).
